
Andre Brown Named D-League Player of Month

GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 3, 2007 - Sioux Falls forward Andre Brown has been named the NBA Development League player of the month for games played in December 2006.
Brown averaged 23.3 points and 11.2 rebounds over 13 games during December, converting 122-of-190 field goal attempts (.642). The 6-9, 245-pound forward from DePaul leads the D-League in scoring at 22.8 points and is second in rebounding at 10.8 per game. He recorded 10 double-doubles in December and leads the league with 11.
Other players in consideration for December player of the month include Dijon Thompson of Albuquerque, Jawad Williams of Anaheim, Austin's B.J. Elder, Von Wafer of Colorado, Renaldo Major of Dakota, Idaho's Jeff Graves and Will Conroy of Tulsa.
