
Harvey Grant Added to Washington Wizards Night on Friday, July 27th

Woodbridge, VA - The Potomac Nationals are excited to announce that former Washington Wizards forward Harvey Grant has been added to the Legends Autograph Series for the 2018 season. Grant will join Phil Chenier on Washington Wizards Night at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium on Friday, July 27th, the series opener against the Carolina Mudcats (Milwaukee Brewers).
Grant, now part of the eight event Legends Autograph Series, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union, will hold a meet and great autograph session along with Phil Chenier on Washington Wizards Night on Friday, July 27th. All autograph signings are free, and will be available for fans on a first-come, first-serve basis. The autograph session will begin as soon as gates are open on Friday, July 27th.
Grant, drafted by the Washington Bullets with the 12th overall pick in the 1988 NBA Draft out of Oklahoma University, played in seven total seasons with the Washington franchise, initially from 1988-1993 and again from 1996-1998.
In total, Grant played in 508 career games with Washington, where he averaged 10.7 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game.
The 11-year NBA veteran also spent three seasons with the Portland Trailblazers and the final year of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Grant comes from a high-profile basketball family, as he spent time in college and the NBA with his twin brother, Horace Grant. Harvey Grant also has three sons currently playing professional basketball. Jerami Grant is a forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jerian Grant is a guard for the Orlando Magic, and Jerai Grant is a forward who plays in Venezuela.
