Playing their second straight game away from home in 23 hours, the Harrisburg Heat fell 10-2 to Eastern Division leading Utica City FC.
Coming back from a 5-0 deficit, the Heat cut it to a 5-2 game through rookie Tavoy Morgan (his 16th goal of the season) and leading scorer Ricardo Carvalho.
The Heat would continue to make in roads in the lead, coming close to make it a two-goal game but ultimately would fall back to a 7-2 gap.
UCFC added an empty net goal and two more late to earn their 13th win on the season (13-5).
In net, William Banahene takes the loss making two saves.
For Utica, Slavisa Ubiparipovic notched a hat-trick, Logan Roberts had two goals with solo goals each from veterans Freddy Moojen, Mauricio Salles and Joey Tavernese. Liam Callahan and Nate Bordeau also scored for the home side.
Next up for Harrisburg (7-11) is a return home to take on their long time rival Baltimore Blast on Sunday, March 17th at 5.05pm. The Heat will wear and auction off special St. Patrick's Day jerseys for the match. It is also Grandparents day, where all Grandparents tickets are free, with a paid child ticket. For the kids, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be there to watch the Heat and Blast go to battle.
