Hampton Inn of Augusta on Washington Road named official host hotel

Augusta, GA - The Augusta Lynx announced today that the Hampton Inn of Augusta, located at 3030 Washington Road, will be the club's official host hotel for the 2006-07 season.
Teams may contact Kim Powell at the Hampton Inn of Augusta via phone at (706) 737-1122 to coordinate room bookings. Out of town fans traveling to watch their team play or family members visiting the area may also call and request a special "Lynx Rate" when staying at the Hampton Inn of Augusta on Washington Road.
The Lynx will kick off their ninth season of ECHL action Friday, October 20 against Columbia and Saturday, October 21 versus Gwinnett! Both games start at 7:35 pm and feature fireworks, live music, giveaways, and more. Tickets are on sale now through the Lynx office at (706) 724-4ICE, or via any TicketMaster location and on line at www.TicketMaster.com.
