
Hammerheads Rally To Sink Charlotte

Jupiter Hammerheads News Release
JUPITER, FL- The Jupiter Hammerheads (30-37) rallied to beat the Charlotte Stone Crabs (33-33) by a score of 6-5 tonight at Roger Dean Stadium. The Hammerheads took three of four from the Stone Crabs in the series. Left fielder Brandon Tripp singled with two outs in the seventh inning off of Kevin Boggan (2-5) to score Miguel Fermin and Gregory Burns to give the Hammerheads a 6-5 lead. Jupiter was clutch at the plate this evening, as four of their six runs came scored with two outs.
Peter Andrelczyk (1-1) pitched two scoreless innings in relief to pick up his first win as a Jupiter Hammerhead. Kyle Gunderson pitched a scoreless ninth to record his 13th save. Starter Kris Harvey (ND) allowed three runs on five hits and struck out two over three innings.
Catcher Miguel Fermin had a good night at the plate and finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs (24). Ben Harrison also added two runs for Jupiter with a home run (10) in the third inning off of Alex Cobb (ND).
Jupiter opens up a three-game series with Fort Myers tomorrow at Roger Dean Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
