Hamilton Tiger-Cats, BetRegal Ink New Sports Betting Fan Engagement Partnership

HAMILTON, ON - The 15-time Grey Cup Champions, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, announced a new multi-year fan engagement partnership with BetRegal. The new deal is effective immediately and will see BetRegal become an Official Sports Book and Betting Partner of the Tiger-Cats.

"This partnership will help market and promote the Ticats and its players, and to enhance the relationship the team has with its fans," said Mike Mirtl, CEO at BetRegal. "There's no doubt that fans see sports betting as an extension of their fandom, and BetRegal is looking forward to offering them authentic opportunities both in stadium and online."

The partnership will add to the in-game and stadium fan engagement experience and will further the BetRegal relationship with CFL fans, including customized page on BetRegal website specifically for Ticats fans. Two-time CFL All-Star and the Ticats 24th Wall of Honour inductee, Rob Hitchcock, becomes a BetRegal Brand Ambassador and will collaborate on a new social media content series focusing on betting education, tips, and insights.

The Tiger-Cats and Bet Regal will collaborate to develop a new fan experience section on the east side of Tim Hortons Field that will continue to enhance the social viewing experience of the stadium. The section will and feature giveaways and opportunity to engage with BetRegal brand ambassadors starting later this season. Team Sweepstakes will also be introduced, giving fans an opportunity to win some of the most exclusive team prizing offered including VIP Road Trips on the team charter and Private Player Meet and Greets.

BetRegal branding will be prominent on game-day broadcasts through Virtual Field Logos, Primary Sideline LED System and EndZone Signage. Additionally, BetRegal will become a Presenting Partner of the Ticats This Week Show (podcast), which will include insights to lines around the league.

The Ticats (0-1-0) host the Calgary Stampeders (1-0-0) in their 2022-23 Home Opener this Saturday.
