Here is a look at some of the community events that the Hamilton Bulldogs and Bulldogs Foundation have been involved with recently.

Movember

The entire Bulldogs team took part this past month in 'Movember' which challenged each player to grow a moustache for the entire month of November to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer. Each player had their own page on the 'Movember' website under the Hamilton Bulldogs team page, where friends and family could give donations to support that player. In total, the team raised $6,214 for 'Movember' with Alex Henry ($1,235) and Ryan Russell ($1,050) raising the most money. In a team vote, Alex Henry was voted as having the best moustache while Ryan Russell was voted as having the worst.

The program will provide breakfast to over 1,500 students who attend Barton Secondary School, Bennetto Elementary School and Parkview Secondary School. The Bulldogs were defeated 2-1 in the game but collected over 2,000 toys that were thrown to the ice following Max Pacioretty's third period goal. The toys will now be donated to local charities including Children's Aid Society of Hamilton, Interval House of Hamilton, the Salvation Army and other charitable groups in the Hamilton area for distribution to families in need for Christmas.

The players also sang Christmas songs to the children including 'Jingle Bells' and 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer'.
