Davies Sent to Gwinnett

The Chicago Wolves have reassigned forward MICHAEL DAVIES to the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators.

DAVIES has collected four assists and six points in 12 games with the Wolves this season after being recalled on Nov. 3. He also has tallied five assists and six points in six ECHL games with Gwinnett this year.

Last year, the 23-year-old forward set a career-high and shared sixth in the NCAA with 52 points (20G, 32A) in 41 games as a senior with the University of Wisconsin (WCHA).

The Chesterfield, Mo., native ranked second on the Badgers with a career-best 20 goals and third with a career-most 32 assists, and made his professional debut in three Calder Cup playoff games with the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers after Wisconsin was defeated in the 2010 NCAA National Championship game.

Overall, DAVIES amassed 54 goals, 69 assists, 123 points and 122 penalty minutes in 155 games with the Badgers, spanning four seasons (2006-10).
