Alexandria, LA; August 15, 2008- The Alexandria Aces of United League Baseball (ULB) today announced they will be hosting a charity softball game featuring the Alexandria Fire Department vs. the Alexandria Police Department benefiting the MDA.

MDA is a voluntary health agency - a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than 450 Ark-La-Miss families.

The local fire departments are currently selling tickets with all proceeds from the ticket sales going directly to the MDA. Tickets are $4.00 and children five years and younger will receive free admission. You can call Donnie Gauthier at 729-4397 for ticket info.

Gates will open at 3:30 pm with the first pitch scheduled for 4:00 pm.
