
Gullichsen Earns Star of the Week Honors

Aberdeen Wings forward Alexander Gullichsen, 20, helped the Wings earn a weekend road split against the first-place Austin Bruins. The 6'3 ¬Â³ 195 lb. native of Turku, Finland had three points in the two games.
On Friday, Gullichsen had an assist in a 5-3 loss. On Saturday, he had two goals in the third period, including the game-winning goal, in a 4-2 win.
For the season, Gullichsen is tied for second in team scoring with 19 points in 27 games played.
"Alexander has been one of our most consistent players when it comes to showing up each night ready to compete," Wings head coach Scott Langer said. "He is a big minute player that brings a well-rounded game."
