Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
SPRINGDALE, Ark. - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to announce that over $50,000 have been raised in 10 games by local schools and organizations through the Naturals ticket fundraising program at Arvest Ballpark.
The Naturals ticket fundraising program allows groups to come out to a ball game with friends and supporters, have fun, and keep a large portion of their ticket sales. This year, through the first 10 home games, a staggering $50,406 has been raised, which increases the total to over $600,000 that has been raised since the 2010 season.
The ticket fundraising program is offered to a wide variety of groups including schools, community causes, churches, non-profit organizations, performance groups, and sports teams who want to enjoy a baseball game and simultaneously benefit their organization. The program involves selling Reserved tickets (sections 101-104, 118-120) for an agreed upon Naturals home game at $8 a piece (normally $9 on the day of the game). Depending on the number of tickets sold for the event, groups may see up to 50% of the profits return to their organization.
In addition to raising money, non-profit organizations are named Naturals Community Partners. As such, these groups receive free advertising and exposure throughout the season at the ballpark and www.nwanaturals.com.
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals have 60 home games left during the 2016 regular season and fundraising dates are still available for interested groups. For more information on available games and the ticket fundraising program, please contact the Naturals Front Office at (479) 927-4900 or email us at Groups@nwanaturals.com
