
Grizzlies come home to face Sidewinders

FRESNO â The Fresno Grizzlies, the triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, return to Grizzlies Stadium tomorrow night for a brief 4-game series against the Tucson Sidewinders (Arizona Diamondbacks).
Friday Margaritaville comes to Grizzlies Stadium with a "Jimmy Buffett Tribute Night." The first 3,000 fans will receive a floppy hat presented by Sierra Vista Mall as well as a Hawaiian leis. Before the game get into a tropical state of mind listening to the Friday Night Jams band, "Cadillac Cowboys." On the field, Grizzlies players will wear special Hawaiian print jerseys to set the mood. A silent auction will run through the 6th inning for each player's jersey with the winner to receive the jersey right off the players back following the game.
Saturday is the second installment of the Grizzlies bobblehead doll series as current Grizzlies' player Todd Linden is immortalized with his own bobblehead presented by ESPN Radio 1430 AM (first 2,500 fans).
Sunday we celebrate moms everywhere by giving away flowers courtesy of Spino's Nursery and Landscape to all mothers in attendance. Following the game we keep the kids busy as children 12 and under can participate in the Fresno World of Baseball Run the Bases.
The series with Tucson concludes Monday with a "Making the Grade Day" presented by Carl's Jr. with a special 12:05 p.m. start time. Also start your week out right with Monday Madness presented by David's Sunflower Seeds and for $12 receive two reserved field tickets, two hot dogs, two packs of David's Sunflower Seeds and two sodas.
