Gateway Grizzlies News Release
Sauget, IL - The Gateway Grizzlies announce that their scheduled game for today, Sunday, July 17 against the Schaumburg Boomers has been postponed due to inclement weather.
As the two teams do not play each other in Sauget for the rest of the regular season, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the Grizzlies face the Boomers in Schaumburg from August 26-28 at Wintrust Field. The exact date and time of the make-up game is TBD.
The Grizzlies will enter the all-star break trailing the Boomers by two games for the final playoff spot in the West Division at 29-28 overall, and will resume action this Friday, July 22, on the road against the Tri-City ValleyCats. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY.
