
Y'alls-Slammers Suspended in Third Inning

FLORENCE, KY - Sunday's game between the Florence Y'alls and the Joliet Slammers has been suspended in the bottom of the third inning.
Currently, the Y'alls hold a 4-1 advantage with two outs in the bottom of the third. Brennan Price has two RBI and a double. Cam Aufderheide allowed all four runs on three hits, two hit batters, and issued six walks. Dave Matthews had the RBI single for Joliet's only run.
The game will be continued later this season when Joliet returns to Florence August 30-September 1. The official day and time to continue today's suspended game is still to be announced.
The Y'alls are now off for four days for the 2022 Frontier League All-Star Break. Brennan Price, Anthony Brocato, and Alberti Chavez will represent the Y'alls this coming Wednesday in the All-Star game in Washington, PA. The Y'alls are on the road to start the post-break schedule and return home for a nine-game homestand starting Tuesday, July 26.
