The Grand Rapids Griffins have signed forward Louis-Marc Aubry and defenseman Conor Allen to one-year contracts.

Aubry, 24, enjoyed a breakout year with the Griffins in 2015-16 by setting career highs in points (12-17 - 29), goals (12), assists (17), penalty minutes (87) and games played (75). The 6-foot-4, 212-pound winger also chipped in one goal while playing in all nine Calder Cup Playoff contests.

Detroit's third choice (81st overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Aubry joined the Griffins in 2011-12 and has totaled 77 points (28-49 - 77) and 254 PIM while appearing in 306 regular season games, the fifth-most in franchise history. He also appeared in 18 games with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye during the 2013-14 season and accounted for 15 points (7-8 - 15).

Aubry has contributed five points (4-1 - 5) in 39 career postseason games and he helped the Griffins capture the 2013 Calder Cup.

Allen, 26, produced 14 points (3-11 - 14) and 68 PIM during the 2015-16 regular season in a combined 66 games between the Milwaukee Admirals, Binghamton Senators and Iowa Wild.

The 6-foot-2, 208-pound blueliner logged career highs in both points (11-23 - 34) and goals (11) in 72 games during the 2014-15 season with the Hartford Wolf Pack, pacing team defensemen in both categories.
