
Gregor Lands First Division Team Of The Week Honors

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers midfielder Andrew Gregor was selected to the USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 12, it was announced today. With his second selection in two weeks, Gregor has made the Team of the Week four times this season.
Gregor's one goal and one assist performance over the weekend led the Timbers to a 3-0 road win over the California Victory. He scored his sixth goal of the season with a penalty kick in the 11th minute and then assisted Cameron Knowles' goal in the 20th minute to cap the night's scoring.
The Beaverton, Ore., native was a member of last week's Team of the Week assisting the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Miami FC on June 30. Gregor, 31, was also selected to the Team of the Week in Week 1 and was the USL First Division Player of the Week in Week 4.
The Timbers face the expansion Victory on Friday and Sunday at PGE Park. Friday's match will be broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel; kickoff is set for 8 p.m. The first 1,500 fans to Friday's match will receive a Timber Jim Bobblehead presented by Toyota.
