
Greenville Suffers Loss to Greensboro

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive suffered a 8-4 loss to the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
The Drive got on the board quick when Niko Kavadas homered in the first inning, but Greensboro took the lead in the second with a two-run homerun from Sammy Siana.
Gilberto Jimenez answered with an RBI single. The fourth inning is when the Grasshoppers began to bury the Drive. Hits from Luke Brown, Yoyner Fajador, and Endy Rodriguez put five runs on the board.
The Drive tried to chip away at the lead when Nicholas Northcut hit one out in the fifth inning, but Greensboro's Brown added another run to their efforts.
Alex Erro gave one last effort when he scored on a wild pitch in the seventh inning.
The series continues tomorrow at 6:30 PM.
