Greensboro's Tuesday Double-Header Cancelled
August 26, 2008 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Greensboro Grasshoppers News Release
Kannapolis, N.C. - Even more rain in the Kannapolis area has forced Greensboro and the Intimidators to cancel the double-headers scheduled for today after Monday's contest was also washed out. The cancellation means that neither game will be made up.
Greensboro will have an off day on Wednesday before returning to the field at home to open a five-game series against the Lexington Legends. The five-game set will bring the Hoppers' 2008 campaign to a close.
Be sure to join the Hoppers as they close out another great season from NewBridge Bank Park. Greensboro is currently on the brink of breaking another all-time attendance record and the Hoppers want you to be there when they do.
For more information about the last homestand of 2008, call the Grasshoppers Box Office at 336-268-2255 or visit the Hoppers online at gsohoppers.com.
