Greene and Szarka Represent Western Division at Player Awards

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are proud to announce that Andrew Greene and Chris Szarka have been chosen to represent the Western Division in this year's Player Awards. For the second time in his career Andrew Greene will be up for the top Lineman in the CFL. Chris Szarka is making his first awards visit as the Most Outstanding Canadian nominee.

OUTSTANDING CANADIAN

Second straight nomination as Roughriders Outstanding Canadian...had 324 rushing yards this season...also set career high and led the team with 12 touchdowns...last Roughrider fullback to receive the Outstanding Canadian nomination was Steve Molnar in 1977...the last Rider to win Outstanding Canadian was Ray Elgaard in 1992.

OUTSTANDING OFFENSIVE LINEMAN

Third nomination as Outstanding Offensive Lineman...also nominated in 2000 and 2001...was Western Division nominee in 2000...started 18 games at right guard...has picked up Lineman-of-the-Week honours three times this season and Lineman-of-the-Month honours in July...last Roughrider offensive lineman to win award was Roger Aldag in 1988.
