
Green Bay Gets Back on Track

The Green Bay Gamblers erased a 4-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over Team USA on Saturday at the Resch Center. Green Bay sits in 3rd place in the USHL Eastern Division with a mark of 25-14-3. Top four teams in each division qualify for the Clark Cup Playoffs.
Trailing 1-0 late in the 2nd period, the Gamblers exploded with three goals in the final 4-minutes and 20 seconds of the period. Goal scorers included Damien Carfagna (15:40), Alex Servagno (18:35) and John Mittelstadt (19:30).
Cam Thiesing notched a power play goal (12:29) midway through the 3rd period to round out the scoring.
Matt Davis picked up the win in net turning aside 26 shots.
Mason Lohrei, who has the team record for points in a season by a defenseman (50 points) tallied a pair of assists.
Green Bay hosts Waterloo tomorrow night at the Resch Center. Start time is 5:05 pm. Box office opens at 10:00 AM.
