Green Bay Blizzard DB Plummer Promoted to Canadian Football League

Green Bay, WI - The Green Bay Blizzard organization is proud to announce on Tuesday that rookie Defensive Back Shawn Plummer was promoted to the Montreal Allouettes of the Canadian Football League.

After attending rookie camps for the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers, Plummer signed on with the Green Bay Blizzard for his rookie season in the Indoor Football League in December 2013. In his two starts at defensive back, Plummer recorded 13.5 total tackles, including two tackles for a loss.

Plummer played college football at Fresno State University where he earned Mountain West All-Academic Team honors in 2012. His best season came in 2012 when he recorded 25 solo tackles, 12 assisted tackles, and four tackles for a loss.

The Blizzard organization would like to wish Plummer the best of luck with his future endeavors in the CFL and beyond.
