GREAT FALLS, Mont. (July 13, 2015) - For the second time in three days, the Great Falls Voyagers allowed 12 runs, as the Ogden Raptors claimed a 12-9 victory Monday night at Centene Stadium to earn a split of the four-game set.

With the game tied 4-4 in the fifth, Ogden (13-13) took a lead they did not relinquish. Scott De Jong homered for the third straight day, taking Dylan Barrow (0-1) deep to put the Raptors up by one.

The visitors then tacked on three more in the sixth. With two outs, Nick Dean reached on an error, opening the door for Ogden to score four unearned runs to stretch the lead to five.

The Raptors continued to pour it on in the seventh. Dean tripled in a pair, Garrett Kennedy had an RBI single, and another run scored on an error.

With the deficit at eight, the Voyagers (13-9) tried to rally back in the eighth. After the first run of the frame scored on an error, Dante Flores brought in a run with a single. A walk then loaded the bases for Johan Cruz, who cleared the bases with a double, pushing his RBI total to a career-high five for the night, after having two sacrifice flies early on.

The comeback attempt was halted, however, by Isaac Anderson. The righty came in to retire the final two in the eighth, then struck out the side in the ninth to earn his first save.

For the second consecutive game, it was the Raptors who scored first. The two teams then traded the lead back and forth until De Jong's homer broke the tie in the fifth.

For the second time in the last three games, the Voyager pitching staff gave up 12 runs, tying a season-high. Great Falls also tied a season-high with eight walks issued to Ogden hitters, and set a new high watermark with 15 strikeouts, including a career-high six for reliever Danny Dopico, who whiffed five Raptors in a row at one point.

The Voyagers have an off day on Tuesday before heading to Ogden to begin a three-game series at Lindquist Field against the Raptors on Wednesday night. Southpaw Tanner Banks (2-0, 1.77) will be on the hill for Great Falls, while Ogden will counter with right-hander Dennis Santana (0-2, 12.89). First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., and coverage will begin at 6:45 on 1400 AM KXGF and gfvoyagers.com.
