Grand Rapids Gold Acquire Returning Player Rights to Jamorko Pickett

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Grand Rapids Gold, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, have agreed to send the returning player rights to Grant Golden and a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA G League Player Draft to the Cleveland Charge. In exchange, the Cleveland Charge have agreed to send the returning player rights to Jamorko Pickett to the Gold.

The Gold have agreed to send a first-round pick in the 2024 NBA G League Player Draft to the Wisconsin Herd. The Herd has agreed to send the returning player rights to Rob Edwards to the Cleveland Charge. This trade is not subject to any player passing a physical.

Jamorko Pickett attended Georgetown University where he averaged 9.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, and was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team. As a senior, Pickett averaged 12.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA draft, Pickett joined the Detroit Pistons for the 2021 NBA Summer League where he averaged 9.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in five games. On September 24, 2021 Pickett signed a two-way contract with the Pistons.

Pickett participated in the 2022 NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers and was later signed to the Cleveland Charge training camp roster.
