
Grand Prairie Wins Over Sports

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
In a wild finish Sunday, the Grand Prairie "Airhogs" defeated the Shreveport Sports 12-6.
The "Airhogs" broke open a 6-6 game with two runs in the eighth and added four more runs in the ninth inning to win the series three games to one. Both teams combined for 30 hits at Fair Grounds Field for the second slugfest in as many games.
The Sports will now open a three-game series at Fort Worth Monday. Game time will be 7:05 with the broadcast on AM 1130 KWKH.
