Gotham FC to Give Away Limited Edition Ali Krieger Bobbleheads
April 12, 2024 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
NJ/NY Gotham FC News Release
HARRISON, NJ - NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced a special giveaway item at the club's home opener against the Kansas City Current on Sunday, April 14 at 6 p.m. ET. While supplies last, fans will receive a limited-edition Ali Krieger bobblehead.
Krieger will return to her home stadium for the first time since the captain victoriously led Gotham FC to an NWSL Championship last season in the final professional game of her decorated career. The now-retired two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion (2015, 2019), Olympian (2016), and NWSL champion (2023) achieved greatness on the field, while off the field, she has played a major advocacy role in the fight for equal pay, LGBTQIA+ rights, and social justice.
Krieger will sign autographs and take pictures with fans and the 2023 National Women's Soccer League Championship Trophy during a pregame meet-and-greet on the concourse.
