
Gorillas to hold end-of-season party Sunday

Amarillo, TX 3/19/09 - With the Amarillo Gorillas mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, the team has scheduled their annual end-of-season party for Sunday, March 22.
The festivities are to be held in the Amarillo Civic Center's north concourse starting at 2:00 PM on Sunday. Gorillas players will be on hand, as an open skate will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM while Gorillas players sign autographs and will be available for pictures. Food will be served beginning at 3:00 PM, with an awards presentation shortly afterwards.
A game-worn jersey auction (featuring the Gorillas' new red third jerseys) will be held near 4:00 PM, with door prizes given away towards the conclusion of the party.
The season ticket holder-only party will be fans' last chance to meet and greet with many of the players on the 2008-09 roster until next season. For more information about the event, please call (806) 242-PUCK (7825).
Sutter and the Gorillas (17-41-3) will host the New Mexico Scorpions in their next game on Thursday, March 19. Tickets are available for the game by calling (806) 242-PUCK (7825).
