GORILLAS SEND BROWN TO CORPUS CHRISTI
In other Amarillo Gorillas news today, the hockey club announced that defenseman Matt Brown was sent to the Corpus Christi Rayz for future considerations.
Brown heads to Corpus Christi for his second season in the Central Hockey League. Last season with Amarillo, Brown played in 62 of the team's 64 games, collecting two assists and 75 penalty minutes for the Gorillas.
The Amarillo Gorillas will entertain the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in their home opener on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Jungle in the Amarillo Civic Center. The opening weekend will also feature a game against the Northern Conference rival Wichita Thunder on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. Partial and full season ticket packages as well as Corporate Sponsorships are available by calling 242-7825.
