Amarillo Gorillas News Release
AMARILLO, TX â For the second consecutive year, the Amarillo Gorillas Blacktop Hockey Tour will be making a stop in Guymon, Oklahoma on Monday, June 16.
It will be a busy day for the Gorillas as they will put on two Blacktop Hockey Clinics. The first one will be held for the Guymon YMCA from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Grace Southern Baptist Church. Children ages 7-15 are invited to register for the clinic and for more information they should contact or drop by the Guymon YMCA.
Later that day, the Gorillas will put on a special Blacktop Hockey clinic for the STARZ Program from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Living Word Church.
"We are very excited to be working with both the Guymon YMCA and the STARZ Program," said Director of Community Relations Denis J. Puska. "We had a lot of fun with both of these clinics last summer and I am expecting more of the same.
"This is my third year to be able to work with and speak to those involved with the STARZ Program and we hope the hockey organization has made a difference with them."
The Amarillo Gorillas are eagerly preparing for their 2003-2004 Central Hockey League season. Season Ticket and Corporate Packages are available by calling our offices at 242-7825.
