
Busy Saturday for Gorillas with Two Blacktop Hockey Clinics

Amarillo, TX â It will be a busy Saturday for the Amarillo Gorillas Blacktop Hockey Tour with two events scheduled.
The Blacktop Hockey Tour will be at Play It Again Sports in Amarillo located in the Plaza at 34th and Coulter from Noon to 2 p.m. Come out and play street hockey with Director of Ice Operations Jason Desloover, Gorillas players and Stomp the mascot.
The tour will then head up to Spearman, TX to take part in a celebration with the Spearman Chamber of Commerce from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fans are invited to come out and meet Stomp the Gorillas mascot and learn the game of hockey.
Admission to both events is free, but children must have wear tennis shoes in order to participate.
"Play It Again Sports has been an avid hockey supporter in Amarillo for a long time and we are pleased to be helping them out with a clinic," said Director of Community Relations Denis J. Puska. "We will be making our first trip to Spearman and we are looking forward to participating in the community activity there."
