DENVER -- Good seats are still available for the Colorado Crush season opener against the Las Vegas Gladiators on Friday, February 6. Tickets start at just $7 and can be purchased by calling 303.830.TIXS or logging on to ticketmaster.com.
Season tickets are also on sale and start at just $10 per game. For more information and to purchase season tickets, fans should visit the team's official website, www.coloradocrush.com, or call (303) 352-1000.
The Feb. 6 game vs. Las Vegas will mark the start of the Crush's second season and will feature the Crush debut of new head coach Mike Dailey, a former Arena Football League Coach of the Year and Arena Bowl champion.
In addition to a new coach, the Crush also features many new faces, as only five players from last year's squad made the opening day roster. Among those returning are QB John Dutton, the MVP of the 2002 Arena Bowl, and offensive specialist Damian Harrell, one of the leading receivers in the AFL last season.
The Crush is coming off its inaugural season in the AFL, setting league records in both season tickets and merchandise sold, and is owned by a partnership group consisting of Denver Broncos legendary quarterback and 2004 Hall of Fame inductee John Elway, Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, and Stan Kroenke of Kroenke Sports Enterprises, which owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Pepsi Center.
