Crush sign three to practice squad

DENVER, Colo. -- The Colorado Crush announced today that they have signed WR/DB Thal Woods, OL/DL Jerry Montgomery and OL/DL Don Klein to their practice squad.
All three players participated in training camp with the Crush and were placed on waivers prior to the team making its final roster cut on Monday, February 2. Per league rules, each team may carry up to four players on their practice squad in addition to their 24-man roster.
The 5-9, 173-pound Woods played collegiately at Colorado State and appeared in two games for the Crush in 2003, catching two passes for 22 yards. Montgomery, 6-3 and 300 pounds out of Iowa has one year of AFL experience. Klein is a 6-1, 296-pound rookie who played his college ball at Temple.

The Crush will kick off their second season when they host the Las Vegas Gladiators on February 6, 2004 at the Pepsi Center.
