Goertzen and Sannitz Reassigned To Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (December 30, 2004) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that right wing Steven Goertzen and center Raffaele Sannitz were reassigned to Syracuse.

Goertzen, 20, has appeared in five games with Dayton (ECHL) this season, recording one assist and two penalty minutes. In 20 games with the Crunch this season, Goertzen has recorded 3 points (1g, 2a) and 44 penalty minutes. A native of Stony Plain, Alberta, Goertzen was Columbus' 11th pick, 225th overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft.

Sannitz, 21, has appeared in two games with Dayton this season, recording three assists. In 22 games with the Crunch this season, Sannitz has recorded four points (2g, 2a) and 8 penalty minutes. A native of Mendrisio, Switzerland, Sannitz was Columbus' ninth pick, 204th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft.
