The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards' NBA G League affiliate, announced their coaching staff additions for the 2019-20 season.

Dan Tacheny - Associate Head Coach

Phil Goss - Assistant Coach

David Noel - Assistant Coach

Mike Williams - Director of Player Development

Jimmy Bradshaw - Assistant Coach

"We are thrilled to be able to go into year two of the Go-Go with such a complete staff," said General Manager Pops Mensah-Bonsu. "We have great continuity in our front office, and we were able to build off of that with our coaching staff. Several members of our staff have previous ties to the Wizards which will enable us to fully maximize the player development aspect of our G League role. Dan [Tacheny] has proved himself as an excellent coach at the international and G League level, while Phil [Goss] and David [Noel] bring experience from both a player and coach perspective. Mike [Williams] and Jimmy [Bradshaw] are well known throughout the building for their hard work with all Monumental Basketball teams and will each be great additions to the staff."

First-year head coach Ryan Richman's staff includes several members with ties to the Wizards, as well as having previous NBA G League and international coaching experience. Dan Tacheny comes to the Go-Go having spent the 2018-19 season as an assistant coach with the Greensboro Swarm. The Mankato, Minn. native brings a wealth of coaching experience to Capital City, having spent several seasons as a head coach in Mexico - amassing the highest winning percentage for a coach in the league's history. Tacheny's experience expands to the NBA as well, with six years spent as an advance scout and video coordinator with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Orlando Magic and two years spent as a player development coordinator for the Wizards from 2014-16.

Phil Goss enters his first season as an assistant coach at the NBA G League level, having spent each of the last two summers as an assistant coach for the Wizards Summer League teams. Goss played professionally in Europe for over a decade, playing in several different countries and leagues across the continent. The Oxon Hill, Md. native attended Drexel University and ranks 13th all-time on the Dragons' career scoring list.

David Noel joins the Go-Go coaching staff through the NBA's Assistant Coaches Program Apprenticeship after spending the last two seasons as the head coach for the Southern Durham School of Energy and Sustainability, leading the team to a Big 8 Conference Tournament championship in 2018. Noel spent the summer as a member of the NBA Assistant Coaches Program, a program that prepares current and former players for coaching careers. The program emphasizes the development of coaching skills, basketball technology and provides hands-on coaching experience. Noel played four years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, serving as team captain during his sophomore and junior seasons and helping the team to an NCAA championship in 2005. The Durham, N.C. native was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft. Noel spent two seasons with the Bucks before finishing his playing career overseas and in the then-D League

Mike Williams will lead the Go-Go's on-court player development in his first year with the team. Williams spent the 2018-19 season as a player development assistant with the Wizards, spending most of his time on court while also assisting in the video room. Williams also had a stint in Portland with the Trail Blazers as a player development intern, as well as four seasons with the University of Maryland men's basketball team as a manager and graduate assistant.

Jimmy Bradshaw will serve as an assistant coach for the Go-Go after spending the last four seasons in the Wizards' video room, the last two coming as the head video coordinator for the team. In addition to his video room responsibilities, Bradshaw also spent time on the court assisting in player development and practices. The Springfield, Va. native played Division III basketball at Roanoke College before moving on to a graduate manager position at Lehigh University with the men's basketball team.

Ryan Richman will make his head coaching debut with the Go-Go on November 9, opening at home against the Grand Rapids Drive.
