Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release

Lethbridge, AB - Roy Stasiuk, General Manager of the Lethbridge Hurricanes announced today the hiring of Carolyn Glover to assume responsibilities as Athletic Trainer.

Carolyn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position, having served the same role with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL and the Westside Warriors of the BCHL for the past five years. In both of those locations Carolyn served former Brandon Wheat King assistant coach, Mark Howell.

"We were very fortunate to have Carolyn come in on an interim basis two years ago when Slim Broderson was away at the World Junior tournament, "says Stasiuk. The Canes GM added, "Little did we know at that time it would end up being a working interview. We found Carolyn to be very professional, prepared and her certification as an athletic therapist will only enhance our player treatment delivery."

Glover graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Kinesiology Athletic Therapy Major. She also earned an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Calgary's Mount Royal College. She's also had experience with Hockey Canada serving both men's and women's teams.

Carolyn Glover is expected to join the Hurricanes on Tuesday, August 26th once she fulfills prior commitments with Westside.
