The Glens Falls Golden Eagles have a number of exciting promotional nights upcoming at East Field! This press release will discuss in detail each promotion for the games during the week of July 16-22. Please release immediately.
Baseball vs. Cancer Night
Feel like giving back to a great cause while also enjoying a baseball game? If so, then be sure to join us at East Field on Monday night July 16 for Baseball vs. Cancer Night. The Glens Falls Golden Eagles will take on the rival Amsterdam Mohawks at 7 P.M. Fans in attendance will have a chance to buy a luminary for $5 and have it be lit in the outfield during the game. Be sure not to miss out on this exciting evening of baseball while also contributing to a great cause! Gates for the game will open at 5:30 P.M. and admission is $5.
Bark in the Park Night
The Glens Falls Golden Eagles Baseball Team will host a "Bark in the Park" night at East Field in Glens Falls, New York on July 19 to benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind guide dog pups in-training. The game starts at 7 p.m. as the Golden Eagles host Albany. Pre-sale tickets are available, discounted to $4 and will benefit the Guiding Eyes puppies. Members of the puppy raising team will attend with their puppies who are being raised in preparation to assist a blind person. All leashed and well-mannered dogs are welcome.
Each attendee who brings a puppy toy will receive a free hot dog. Members of the Golden Eagle Baseball Team will greet attendees in the stands for autographs and to collect donations.The event will also include raffles at the information table. Members of the puppy raising team will sing the National Anthem and throw out the first pitch.
Baseball Bingo
Be sure to come out to East Field on Sunday night, July 22 for an exciting night of Baseball Bingo! That's right, one of America's most popular games will be played with a twist. Upon arriving at the field, fans will receive a Bingo card with 51 different potential occurrences over the course of the game. The first person to bring a fully completed card to the front gate will win a special prize! Don't miss out on this thrilling evening as the Golden Eagles host the Albany Dutchmen at 7 P.M.
