Bradenton, Fla. - Marauders starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow has been named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week for the period August 4-August 10. Ludwig pitched six scoreless innings against the Jupiter Hammerheads on Thursday, August 7 in a 5-0 win. He struck out 11 while allowing just two hits and two walks.
With the win, Glasnow is now 9-5 with a league-leading ERA of 1.53. He has logged 100 innings while striking out 122 batters. Opponents are batting just .171 with one home run against him.
Glasnow is 20 years old and resides in Newhall, CA. He is in his third season of professional baseball.
