Gladiators Sign Sawruk

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have signed forward Alex Sawruk.

Sawruk appeared in two games this season with the Gladiators but did not register a point on January 19th and January 20th before being released.

The Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan native returns to Gwinnett after having played for the Gladiators during the 2004-05 season. He finished the 2004-05 season with the Louisiana IceGators after being traded from the Gladiators. He finished that year, his only professional season, with 7 goals and 14 assists in 39 games.

Sawruk should be available for the Gladiators for tonight's 7:05 p.m. tilt against the South Carolina Stingrays on the Your Best Rate Financial Home Ice at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

The Gwinnett Gladiators continue their fourth season as a proud member of the ECHL on March 29th as they host the South Carolina Stingrays on the Your Best Rate Financial Home Ice at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. Season tickets are on sale now.
