
Gladiators Sign Forwards Vock and Wild

The Gwinnett Gladiators have agreed to terms with forwards Colin Vock and Calin Wild for the 2011-12 season.
Vock earned 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 45 games with Rosenborg Elite of the Norwegian GET-ligaen last year. He also had five power play goals and three game winning goals as one of just five players to appear in every game with Rosenborg.
Prior to skating overseas last year, Vock played four seasons at the University of Vermont from 2006-2010. The Detroit, Michigan native recorded a career best 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) in 39 games during his senior season at Vermont. In four seasons as a Catamount, he tallied 84 points (35 goals, 49 assists) in 144 career collegiate games.
Wild spent the 2010-11 season with the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League. He posted 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) in 55 games in the CHL last year. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native was one of seven players to record 10-or- more goals with the Brahmas last season.
Wild played four seasons at the University of Manitoba before he began his professional career. From 2006-2010, he earned 44 points (25 goals, 19 assists) in 111 career collegiate games.
The Gladiators are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
