
Gladiators Add Two to Roster

DULUTH, GEORGIA - Forward Matt Vidal and defenseman Jacob Bolton have signed standard professional contracts with the Atlanta Gladiators, the team announced today.
Bolton, 24, Just completed a four-year NCAA career at Holy Cross College this past weekend. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound defenseman set career highs this season in assists with 17 and a plus/minus rating of +17 to go along with 18 overall points in his senior year. In 145 career games for the Crusaders, the Ellington, CT native amassed 54 total points. The former Holy Cross alternate captain's best season came his junior year of 2014-15 where the defender lead the team's defensemen in goals (7), assists (12) and points (19).
Vidal, 24, also concluded a full four-year stint with Holy Cross College where he earned 60 points in 136 games. The Manorville, NY product appeared in a career high 36 games this year and produced three goals and 14 assists during his senior season. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound forward served as team captain after being named to the honor for his junior and senior seasons.
Both Bolton and Vidal have joined the Gladiators in preparation for this weekend's three games Friday through Sunday.
