Vancouver, B.C. - General Manager Barclay Parneta announced today that the Giants have traded 2001-born defenceman Parker Hendren (Regina, SK) to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

Originally selected by the Giants in the seventh round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft, Hendren appeared in 26 games last season. He scored one goal and added one assist along with a +2 rating and two penalty minutes. He's appeared in 36 total games with the Giants over the past two seasons.

The Giants would like to thank Parker Hendren for his contributions and wish him the best as he joins the Everett Silvertips.

Tomorrow afternoon in Everett, WA the Giants wrap up their weekend with an 11:30 AM showdown with the Spokane Chiefs.
