Vancouver Giants have signed eighth overall pick Brett Olson, General Manager Barclay Parneta announced this morning. For the second consecutive day, a player from the Giants 2023 Draft Class has signed a WHL Scholarship & Development Agreement.

Brett Olson - Round 1, 8th Overall
Brett Olson was selected eighth overall by the Vancouver Giants in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft last Thursday. Olson, a 6'2 forward, scored 13 goals and added 17 assists this season in 35 games with the St. Albert Raiders U18 AAA. He also played at the Canada Winter Games for Team Alberta where he racked up 3 points in 5 games.
