Overall, San Jose boasts a team ERA of 3.24 and a league-high 11 shutouts. Downs, Boyer Among Hot Hitters...Infielders Matt Downs and Brad Boyer have been swinging hot bats of late for the Giants. In the final two games of the recent series at Visalia, Downs collected six hits in 11 at-bats with three doubles, one home run and five RBI's. Boyer has recorded multiple-hit games in three straight contests.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes...The Quakes, an affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, enter the series in second place in the South Division with a 33-25 record - 1/2 game behind the Lancaster JetHawks (33-24).
