HICKORY, N.C. - Prior to the Opening Night Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday, April 16, against the Kannapolis Intimidators, the Crawdads are ringing in the 2010 campaign on Saturday, April 10, at their annual Open House at L.P. Frans Stadium from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.!
The 'Dads are offering two special ticket deals to all who attend. In accordance with National Sibling Day, any fan that shows up with a sibling will get a FREE Home Opener ticket. Also, anyone that buys a Family 4-Pack for just $29.99 will receive 4 FREE tickets to the Home Opener. The Family 4-Pack includes 4 box seat tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Pepsis, and 4 orders of fries or chips (your choice).
There will also be National Anthem tryouts, face painting, the brand-new Crawdads Bounce House, the Crawdads Speed Pitch, and a special appearance from the Easter Bunny and Conrad the Crawdad! Also, kids will be able to take the field for an Easter Egg Hunt, kickball and will get a chance to run the bases like the pros!
Hot dogs, chips, Cracker Jacks, Pepsis, and beer will all be available for just $1, and popcorn will be FREE! The Team Store and Ticket Office will be open to fill your merchandise and ticket needs as well.

Crawdads start season in Hagerstown tonight!:
Be sure to catch all the action as the Crawdads open the 2010 season on the road against the Hagerstown Suns tonight at 6:35 p.m. All the action will be broadcast live on The Big Dawg 92.1FM and Hickorycrawdads.com, and be sure to tune in 15 minutes early for Crawdads Countdown!

The Crawdads will continue the festivities at the Thirsty Thursday Party/Corporate Challenge Kick Off on Thursday, April 15.
The event will begin at 6 p.m., with a live perfomance by Norva Jean Drams at 7:30 p.m. It will be the first Thirsty Thursday of 2010, featuring $1 beers and Pepsis, trivia, and on-field contests! The event will pit local businesses against each other in competitions such as kickball, tug of war, and sack racing.
