April 8th Game Postponed, Doubleheader On Friday, April 9th

KANNAPOLIS, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have had rain postpone their Opening Day festivities for the 2010 season. A doubleheader has been scheduled for Friday, April 9th, with the first game beginning at 6 pm. The games on Friday will open the 2010 season and will be 7-inning contests instead of one 9-inning game at 7:05 pm. Gates will open at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium at 5:30 pm.

Tickets to the April 8th game will be honored for exchange at the Intimidators Ticket Office for any game in the 2010 season. The tickets must be presented at the time of exchange for a seat of equal value at any game in the 2010 season. The Intimidators open with seven more home dates and will play every day through Thursday, April 15th.

The Intimidators are enjoying their 16th season of play as an organization. This organization has produced such talents as Jimmy Rollins, Gordon Beckham and NFL star Ricky Williams.
