Georgia Gwizzlies News Release
Macon, GA. The ABA Georgia Gwizzlies have hit the airwaves with a brand new TV commercial available on the team's website as well as on Cox Cable stations in Middle Georgia beginning Friday, November 2nd. Leaping phenom 6'7" Mike Davis and sharpshooter Stuart Mitchell, two of the Gwizzlies players, are featured in the new spots as the team prepares for the upcoming season. "With 7000 seats available at the tremendous Macon Centerplex, we want to build our fan base quickly," stated team owner Embry Malone.
"The good people at Cox have been very supportive and have put together a tremendous advertising and promotional package for us. Our goal is to fill the Centerplex."
The organization will also blitz the Middle and South Georgia airwaves and newspapers with radio commercials and newspaper ads. For more information, visit www.gwizzliesbasketball.com or www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
