Georgia Gwizzlies News Release
Atlanta,Georgia-Marty Blake and Associates, the famed NBA scouting service for the past decades have been contacted by the ABA Georgia Gwizzlies to evaluate its ballplayers. The team record after two weeks is a 0-2 start. But the staff extremely optimistic once the talent jell than the team will go deep in next March ABA playoffs.Gwizzlies ballplayers to watch are 6/6 Dunnell Webb 37.0 ppg and 6/8 Rashad Faust 47.0 ppg and newcomer Corey Edmondson a 6'2 pure shooter. Returning ABA All-star nominee from last year 5'10 PG Carl jean-Bart has had a sluggish start and the staff is not in panic mode."Carl is my guy and he will be the sixth man until he gets those powerful,NBA quick legs up to speed" states Embry Malone.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
