MJ Entertainment joins VRCA to head New York Division
November 1, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. MJ Entertainment, a New York-based management company, today joined with VRCA Records to represent the company on the East Coast. MJ Entertainment has been in the management business for the past fifteen years. The company was founded by Michael Jordan, CEO. (Not #23). Jordan has worked with and toured with major recording artists like MC Hammer.
Since its inception, MJ Entertainment has put together an excellent team of writers, producers and management consultants to assist in promoting, managing and encouraging artists in developing their professional carrers. "We are very happy to be heading VRCA Records New York Division," stated Jordan. "We look forward to working with VRCA as well as the ABA Entertainment Division booking concerts and other ABA Entertainment events."
"What we have to offer the ABA fans will be lots of brand new recording artists that have a deep passion to play in front of all of the ABA fans," added Jordan. "This will provide a variety of different types of music to fans. We currently have over 40 artists that we manage and they will be joining the ABA Red, White and Blue Concert Tour."
"This will be a very positive union between VRCA Records and MJ Entertainment," stated Paul Allsup, VRCA CEO. "We are very pleased and excited to have MJ Entertainment joining VRCA. Michael discovered a need for running an ethical, value-based management company after experiencing the many faces of the music business from an artist point of view. Coupled with VRCA and the ABA Entertainment Division, MJ is a force to be reckoned with."
