Georgia Force News Release

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA, March 9, 2005 – Georgia Force players, the Georgia Force Women's Association and Kroger supermarkets are asking all fans attending the Orlando Predators game at 7 p.m. on March 19 at Philips Arena to bring new or gently used sports equipment. All equipment will be donated to the Gwinnett Children's Shelter and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.

The community outreach mission of the Force is to encourage children to be active and get fit. As the numbers of children increase at these organizations, so does the need for more sports equipment. Equipment from any sport, from tennis balls to ping pong tables, is being accepted. Donations will be accepted at the door beginning at 6 p.m.

Fans with sizable donations can make special arrangements by calling the Georgia Force community relations department at (770) 965-3115. Also, the following Kroger locations will accept donations for the drive through the end of March:

Kroger Store #469

11877 Douglas Rd

Alpharetta, GA 30005

Kroger Store #434

3651 Peachtree Parkway
