Rampage Womens Football Academy to be held this Monday

This Monday, March 14 at Van Andel Arena, the Grand Rapids Rampage will be hosting an AFL 101 for Women called Womens Football Academy. This is the third AFL 101 for Women the Rampage have held. The previous two were more question and answer sessions, this one will feature each participant actually learning football skills on the turf with Rampage players and coaches.

The event costs just $85 and includes: four tickets to the March 13 game against the Chicago Rush, two passes to the Huntington Bank Hospitality Room before the contest, a Rampage t-shirt, a quarterback wristband, photo opportunities with Rampage players and coaches, and a pass to the pos-game Academy reception.

There are a few spots still available, for more information call the Rampage ticket office at 616.559.1871. The three-hour event is limited to 80 participants.

Rampage coaches and players will provide hands-on instructions on every players' position in the AFL, hold a question-and-answer session, assign an offensive and defensive position to each participant and conduct a light scrimmage game (without helmets and pads). Women will be split into groups/teams of eight and coached by a Rampage player.
