Michael Bishop rushes toward record Sunday on NBC

NEW YORK â Grand Rapids Rampage QB MICHAEL BISHOP (6-2, 215, Kansas State) is on pace to shatter the AFL single-season rushing record. In just four games as a starter, Bishop has run for 217 yards and five touchdowns and is averaging more yards per game (54.2) than any team in the League. At this pace, Bishop would finish the season with 813 yards, almost double the current record of 429 set by MAJOR HARRIS in 1991 with Columbus. Bishop will have a chance to build on his already impressive numbers when the Rampage (1-4) host Central Division rival Chicago Rush (3-3) at Van Andel Arena this Sunday at noon ET on NBC.
